Last night adidas Originals held an event in NYC in which they unveiled a brand new silhouette that’s being known as the adidas Originals NMD. The new lifestyle runner with some retro inspiration is set to officially release on December 12th, but a reflective Consortium version has already hit retailers today.
The adidas NMD is defined by a micro-engineered BOOST midsole and lightweight Primeknit upper which references progressive styles such as the Micro Pacer, the Rising Star, and the Boston Super. This new Consortium version comes with a Black Primeknit upper and 3M detailing pretty much everywhere that you see grey on the shoe. If you’re diggin’ this Consortium pair and don’t wanna wait until Saturday then you may want to hit up select adidas retailers now because they probably won’t sit on shelves for too long.

It looks like adidas has hit another homerun with this new adidas NMD. It has a lot of the same technology as the Ultra Boost with a completely new look. I look forward to seeing them in person and trying on a pair.
